Frequently Asked Questions

How do you treat pet stains and odor?

Since dogs and cats do not sweat, their urine has alkaline salts that absorb moisture.  In other words, pet urine never really dries.  It is a feeding ground for bacteria which causes odor, staining, and discoloration.  Minor conditions can be treated with a combination of germicidal and enzyme surface treatments.  Major conditions might require pad replacement, and floor treatment.

How long does it take to dry?

It usually takes 8 to 12 hours for the carpet to dry depending on the condition and thickness of the carpet.  You can walk on it as soon as we are done.  Normal traffic will not hurt it.  Be careful not to slip when going from carpet onto hard surfaces.
